The Passing Parade: Cheap Shots from a Drive By Mind

"...difficile est saturam non scribere. Nam quis iniquae tam patiens urbis, tam ferreus, ut teneat se..." "...it is hard not to write Satire. For who is so tolerant of the unjust City, so steeled, that he can restrain himself... Juvenal, The Satires (1.30-32) akakyakakyevich@gmail.com

ADDITIONS: I've expanded the blogroll again, this time with that rarest of rare creature, conservative librarians. I know what many of you are thinking: conservative librarians, isn't that an oxymoron like little giant, intelligible nonsense, or tax reform, but no, apparently I am not the only member of this group, there are others and they are now on the blogroll of fame to your right: Conservator, Heretical Librarian, SHUSH, Mike the Librarian, Free Range Librarian, Tinkery Tonk, and Right Wing Librarian. Karen Schneider of Free Range Librarian will, no doubt, object my calling her a conservative, and on a large number of issues she is as liberal most other librarians, but she is here because she is always willing to do her own thinking and even if I don't agree with her on everything I respect her willingness to question the American Library Association's shibboleths, especially on the matter of Cuban libraries, where the record of the ALA is shameful.
