The Passing Parade: Cheap Shots from a Drive By Mind

SHORT TAKE: I am told, by them that pay attention to such things, that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, is positively livid about Prince Charles' plans to marry his long time paramour at a local town hall and not in the usual royal wedding extravaganza. Her Majesty feels that this sort of hobnobbing with the commoners lessens the awe and mystery of the British monarchy ought to inspire. With all due respect to the Queen and her sensibilities, that ship sailed a long time ago and will probably not come back any time soon.
